The city crew will be fixing portions of a water main on Main Ave this evening at 5:30. This will result in a few areas around the school that will have water shut off while the main is repaired. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

City Wide Clean up is scheduled for May 3rd 2025 with Garbage-N-More from 8am - 4pm. Springdell 4H will be available to pick up items for a donation to the club from 8am-12pm. Pre-registration for pick up is required by calling 605-782-9075.

The 4th Street Improvement Project will begin phase 2 Monday March 31st, weather permitting. The first phase of removals will be from the west entrance of the Palisade Healthcare Center to the west side of the 4th St and Oak Dr intersection. On street parking, within the project limits, will not be permitted. Access to Palisades Healthcare Center and the Avera Health Clinic will be maintained throughout the project. Gravel ramps will be installed to help facilitate vehicle traffic at Sherman Ave and the west entrance of Palisade Healthcare Center. Appeals for 2025 property tax assessments are due to City Hall by March 13th 2025. City Council will select a date for the Local Board of Equalization to meet during the March Regular Council Meeting. The meeting is required to take place the week of March 17th through March 21st 2025.
