NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Garretson will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, regarding a rezoning request. The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss the proposed rezoning of HARTMAN’S TRACT 2 IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW1/4) OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 103 N, RANGE 47 W OF THE 5TH P.M. MINNEHAHA COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT THEREOF, EXCEPT HARTMAN’S TRACT 1, 2A, 2B, AND 2C AND EXCEPT FARLEY’S ADD TRACT 1A, 2A, AND 3 from Agricultural zoning to Residential zoning within the City of Garretson. The public is invited to attend and comment.

This public hearing will be held at the following time, date, and location:

6:30 P.M.

March 2nd, 2026

Garretson Economic Development will be holding a strategic planning meeting Monday February 23rd at 4:30pm at Garretson City Hall.

There is a possibility of a quorum from the Garretson City Council and the public is welcome to attend.
